So You Have a Business and Want Traffic?

So you have just started a business and want traffic right now. I wish it was that easy, but it isn't. It takes time to build traffic and a customer base. So lets start with some basics.

 

Use the tools that Linden Lab provide. Advertise YOUR place on the community events web-page. Its easy. Log in to the SL main web-page. On the left hand side you will see "Event". Click on it.

 

 You will be taken to the next screen shot. Click the Submit New Event hot link. That takes you to an agreement, read the agreement, and if you agree with it, click the agree button

 

After you have agreed to the posting rules, you will be taken to the area where you "Post" your event.

 

Fill out ALL the fields, be precise, tell your audience what the event is. When you have done all that, press the "Save Event" button and you will be taken to the ad you just placed.

 

 

Its that easy.

 

What else can you do?

 



• Create a Group for your product, it costs 100 Linden to create a group.
• Set up a freebie area, and include that in your land description field.
• Create Group discount products.
• Create a Twitter Account and get folks to follow you on Twitter.
• Create a Facebook Account and get folks to follow you on Facebook.
• Create a Blog, and feed that blog into Facebook and Twitter.

 

There are more ways to raise the profile of your SL business, these are but a few options.
