2014 Lost Eden Christmas Hunt

Lost Eden ran a well received Christmas Hunt last year (2013) and we are running a Christmas Hunt this year.

The Hunt will begin on the 1st December 2014, and continue until the 24th December 2014.

Last year we used a Candy Cane as the item you had to find, this year we will be using a Christmas stocking.

The hunt will be open to anyone in Second-Life who can access an Adult rated sim, with the exception of child avatars.

The hunt will start at the Lost Eden Landing point where you can pick-up the "clues note-card". The Christmas Stockings will be hidden all across the sim and public access areas and I will lead you on a merry chase.

The Lost Eden Hunt Kicks Off

It is the 1st December 2013, the start of the festive month and the Lost Eden hunt kicks off. One minor issue was resolved, thanks to the resident that brought it to out attention - much appreciated.

There are 25 objects to find. So what are you looking for - Candy Canes - ALL of the Candy Canes are Hidden somewhere on the sim, either at ground level or in some of the public sky-boxes.

Let the Hunt Commence.

Lost Eden is an adult sim, so child avatars are not allowed, If staff come across a child avatar they will ask them to change into an adult avatar, or leave, if the child avatar(s) wont leave then staff will ban them.

This is in line with the sim owners policy on child avatars. Happy Hunting Clue note card can be found in the Welcome area. Hunt Organiser - Rails Bailey

White Lost Eden Welcome Area

Bah Humbug. Whatever your personal views are on Christmas in any world, it is always nice to see folks make an effort to beautify their own little piece of life, whether it be in real life or SecondLife.

Lost Eden has added some Christmas elements to its sim. The sim store has put up Christmas lights and laid a blanket of snow in the courtyard.

The Welcome Area has received the same treatment, which is fitting given they are running a sim Christmas Hunt starting on the 1st December 2013.

The remainder of the sim is its normal lush green self, so drop on by, see the sim and enjoy what Lost Eden offers all of the SecondLife grid.

Lost Eden 2013 Christmas Hunt

So what are you looking for - Candy Canes - ALL of the Candy Canes are Hidden somewhere on the sim, either at ground level or in some of the public sky-boxes. Due to the area search facility most SecondLife clients have, the candy canes are not called "Candy Cane" . Let the Hunt Commence.

The canes have been placed out and are now filled with goodies to find, I hate leaving things till the last minute.

The Clues Note Card can be found in the Welcome Area, not far from the landing point. Look underneath the rules board.

The clues are under this page break. Happy hunting.

Santa on a break

It seems that Santa was taking a break at Lost Eden today, he was spotted, scantily dressed but still carry a sack of goodies on his back, at Lost Eden.

When discretely asked what he was doing here, his polite and cordial response was "My Bum is Cold".

Well what can one say about that, stop sitting in the snow.

Christmas Is A Busy Time

Christmas is a busy time around the world, and that includes within SecondLife too. Folks are working behind the scenes building, turning normal lush green sims into winter wonderlands, gathering and making gifts for loyal patrons of the various sims around SecondLife. It's all go.

So if normally nice residents seem distant, it is likely that they are feverishly working behind the scenes, out of sight of the normal populace, to try and ensure that Christmas in SecondLife is a pleasurable experience.

Then there are those folks that dread the Christmas festive season. Individuals who may associate bad memories with this period of time. Cut then some slack.

Welcome to the Lost Eden Express

The Lost Eden Express will be used to blog solely about Lost Eden and keep it away from my main SecondLife Rambling Blog.

So Lets kick off with a Christmas Post.

Christmas has come early at Lost Eden, one of the local builders - Tyrath has created a magnificent Christmas build above the main sim.

The owners of the Sim have gone that extra yard and put out a Members house for a mere token of 1 Linden and there are free gifts from Santa's Sack

Drop by and see the Lost Eden Christmas build, the opening fits in rather well with the Christmas Hunt that kicks off on the 1st December 2013, but more about that at a later post.

Well done Tyrath.
